The CCC Timeline

1891 Corstorphine Public Hall Company is set up, funded by public subscription. Shares owned by local people and organisations (including the ‘Lit’)
1892 Public Hall opens
1903 Carnegie Library extension opens
1980 Corstorphine Youth and Community Association (later CYCC) is set up
1982 Public Hall re-opens following renovation, with a programme of activities for young people and others
2013 The Fire
2014 CYCC moves to The Hub, St John’s Road and starts charity shop & activities
2015 Corstorphine Public Hall Company becomes a charity
2017 CPHC becomes CCC – a SCIO
2018 CYCC is dissolved and its assets are transferred to CCC
